Diagnosis:
The single species in this genus is characterized by having maxillary palps with 1st and 2nd segments subequal in size, both much shorter than the 3rd segment; 3rd maxillary palp segment originating subapically on the lateral face of the 2nd segment. The forewings each have a closed discoidal cell and an open median cell, and forks 2, 3, 4, and 5; the hind wings each have an open discoidal cell and apical forks 1, 2, and 5.
