Diagnosis: The single species in this genus is characterized by having maxillary palps with 1st and 2nd segments subequal in size, both much shorter than the 3rd segment; 3rd maxillary palp segment originating subapically on the lateral face of the 2nd segment. The forewings each have a closed discoidal cell and an open median cell, and forks 2, 3, 4, and 5; the hind wings each have an open discoidal cell and apical forks 1, 2, and 5. In the genitalia, the gonopods are bilobed. The single known species is distributed in Australia .
