Based on the description and the figures by
Emeljanov and Hayashi (2007)
, this species can be distinguished from other species of the genus by the following characters: right side of periandrium with 1 spinous process near base, apex dorsocaudally directed; longest one originating from right side of periandrium apically, apex ventrocephalically directed; middle part of ventral margin with 1 long spinous process, apex ventrocephalically directed; endosoma with a spinous process dorsomedially, apex ventrocephalically directed.
