Taxonomic notes. Described originally as a species of
Scolioplanes
, it was cited also under
Linotaenia
. No other specimens were recorded, but the validity of the species was never questioned. It is assigned here to
Strigamia
for the first time (
new combination
), because it shares all major diagnostic features of
Strigamia
(see above under “Notes on synonymies”). However, its distinctness is uncertain especially with respect to
S. pusilla
, because the original description is compatible with the latter as is the provenance of the
type
material.
Distribution: known from a single locality in internal Siberia.
