GR, IW , MA, UP , collected at 15 m depth. These specimens were collected in sponges such as A. crassa , C. foliacea , M. arbuscula , Mycale ( Arenochalina ) laxissima (Duchassaing & Michelotti) , algae such as C. cervicornis . The abundance of females and males was not recorded for this species. Local distribution. Consult Cházaro-Olvera et al. (2018) . Geographical distribution. Atlantic Ocean: southern of Florida ; Caribbean Sea: Puerto Morelos Reef National Park , Quintana Roo . Recognition characters . Rostrum rounded with a spine in the middle; pleonites without setal band in dorsal region. Remarks. This species occurs in carbonate substrata associated with live bottom and coral reef habitats, algae and coral rubble, at depths 1 to 30 m . References. Heard et al .
