Diagnosis.
From the original description. Frons of male less than 1/10 of head width; prementum 6 times as long as wide; three strongest postpronotal setae nearly arranged in a triangle; 3 presutural and 3 postsutural dorsocentral setae; lower calypter with short hairs; mid tibia with 1 anterodorsal seta.
Distribution.
Tajikstan.
Remarks.
This species appears to be similar to
E. cristata
(Meigen)
, but differs from the latter by arista long plumose, three strongest postpronotal setae nearly arranged in a triangle, and mid tibia only with 1 anterodorsal seta.
