Although it is possible that the three are conspecific, it is not the purpose of this note to resolve this potential taxonomic issue, which requires further investigation and careful examination of the types . Three additional new species proposed in the unpublished thesis of Ahmad (2015) and listed by Ganai & Khan (2017) still await scrutiny and possible description. All were recognized as distinct and treated as nomina nuda by Pathania et al. (2020) .
