ThiS SpecieS inhabitS large mountain lakeS of Central ASia and it haS SeVeral timeS been regiStered from Mongolia (Möllerdorff, 1901; Yen, 1939 ; IzzatullaeV & StarobogatoV 1985 ; KrugloV, 2005 ). We report R. obliquata from a few WeStern Mongolia lakeS (Khar Nuur, Khoit Dalai Nuur). AlSo, a large Sample of ShellS of thiS SpecieS (ZIN) waS collected from an unnamed lake in the UVS Nuur depreSSion (See fig. 5 B). Extra-limital distribution. The type locality of Radix obliquata iS ISSyk-Kul’ Lake, KyrgyzStan ( VinarSki 2016a ). Yen (1942) alSo mentioned it from lakeS of Tibet (aS R. auricularia obliquata ). It iS alSo known from TuVa ( ProzoroVa & Sharyi-Ool 1999 ). Morphology. R. obliquata iS characterized by large auriculate Shell with Very wide aperture, Strongly conVex whorlS and prominently concaVe tangent line. The columellar depreSSion iS uSually Very prominent.
