Genus
Syntomernus
Enderlein, 1920
Notes
The genus
Syntomernus
could be considered an aberrant group of the genus
Bracon
. It is similar but differs from
Bracon
mainly by the sculpture and shape of the second and third metasomal tergites. Maximum width of the third metasomal tergite is 2.6 times its medial length or more, with anterolateral grooves and the second tergite has a mediobasal area and is usually connected to the median carina (
Figure 5I
).
