Typically found at an altitude of up to 1,769 meters. Freshwater. Economic importance. No commercial importance. Conservation. Conservation status in Afghanistan : Unknown.—IUCN: LC (Vishwanath 2010a).—Threats: FIT, HAB, EUT, CON, ABS.—Low sensitivity to human activities.—Not considered as a keystone species.— Decline status: Decreasing.—Low priority for conservation action.
