HABITAT. Confined to sandy microhabitat of sand dunes dominated by the dune weed,
Stipagrostis pennata
. It is never found in the surrounding gravelly areas.
REMARKS. Based on strict habitat preferences,
Mozaffari & Parham (2007)
hypothesize this species to be endemic to the Maranjab sand dunes.
