Pedicularis dolichorhiza
was validly described by Schrenk in Bull. Cl. Phys.-Math. Acad. Imp. Sci. Saint-Pétersbourg 1(5): 80. 1842 [
18 May 1842
]. The exact date of print is given at the end of the page. Few month later, again described in detail by Schrenk in Enum. Pl. Nov. [F.E.L. Fischer & C.A. Meyer] 23. 1842 [

] where the earlier place of publication is quoted.
