Radula with curved rachidian tooth with four subequal cusps; lateral teeth with three cusps. Type species: C . labidentatus n. sp. (HD) Remarks: Crebrivolutopsius shows some anomalous characters that resemble those of the subfamily Neptuneinae , namely the comparatively small nucleus and the tricuspid lateral teeth, but the form and proportions of the shell is Volutopsiinae , so it is provisionally placed in the later subfamily.
