As suggested by Hodkinson (1986) , Euphyllura caudata Mathur, 1975 and E. concolor Mathur, 1975 are members of the genus Ctenarytaina Ferris & Klyver, 1932 , based on the presence of a subapical comb of bristles on the mesotibia in the adults and additional pore fields on the caudal plate in immatures. Here they are formally recombined as Ctenarytaina caudata ( Mathur, 1975 ) , comb. nov. from Euphyllura and Ctenarytaina concolor ( Mathur, 1975 ) , comb. nov. from Euphyllura .
