Figs. 2 A–I urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act: FD36374F-7156-467B-A8B0-AB665F70E946 The fastigium is very low, wide, and triangular, wider basally than antennal pedicel; pronotum with rather flat disc but slightly concave along midline, lateral angles serrate, diverging posteriorly, with deep humeral notch. Tegmen wider in the middle and narrowed and acute at apex. Hind wings longer than tegmen, with projecting area green as tegmen. TABLE 1. *AM(l)—Anterior margin length; Pm (l)—Posterior Margin Length; M—Median length; AM(w)—Anterior margin width; PM(w)—Posterior Margin width; AM to PM—Anterior margin to Posterior Margin. Female. Body large, head short ( Table 1 ). Fastigium vertex triangular, at base wider than antennal scapus. Flagellum (the long narrow rest) on upper side grooved; eye globular, antennae when pointing anteriorly reaching to tip of fastigium verticis, on upper side grooved or with lateral elevated ridge. Pronotum with flat, slightly concave disc; lateral carinae conspicuous, straight but diverging posteriorly, with obtuse serrations. Posterior margin of pronotum rounded, and fringe with median sulcus ( Figure 1 ).Lateral lobes of pronotum are flat and rounded at distal end, strongly spotted and moderately pigmented, paranota in middle at the disc. Humeral notch conspicuous and deep. Middle of the pronotum with uneven marking unlike other species of Trigonocorypha with elevations and grooves. Wing venation distinct in fore and hind wings, posterior margin of hind wing obtuse, apically curved. Ovipositor short, sickle shaped, strongly curved upward, with strong serrations along entire upper and lower margins, apex of ovipositor acute, but upper valve extended slight above the lower valve, with horny projection at base ( Figure 2 ).Basal third of ovipositor has strong cleft between the dorsal and the ventral ovipositor valves. Cerci with long fine hairs. Subgenital plate short, strongly curved upward. FIGURE 1: 1–2 Trigonocorypha unicolor (♀). 1. Dorsal View DV of Pronotum, 2. Lateral View (LV) of Ovipositor; 3–4 Trignocorypha angustata (♀). 3. DV of Pronotum, 4. LV of Ovipositor; 5–6. Trigonocorypha thenensis sp. nov. (♀).5. DV of Pronotum, 6. LV of Ovipositor. Coloration. Large sized green coloured insect, posterior margin of tegmen is yellowish green in colour, head is light brown in colour. Ovipositor with upper and lower margins black, especially the obtuse serrations. Male. Unknown.
