DISTRIBUTION . — Indo-West Pacific, from the east coast of Africa (Red Sea to eastern South Africa ) to Papua New Guinea , Philippines , New Caledonia ( Pizzini et al. 2013 ; Vannozzi et al. 2015 ; Vannozzi 2017 , 2019b ; Blatterer 2019 ). DIAGNOSIS . — Shell small for the genus.Tube subcylindrical, smooth, showing some rings toward the aperture. Macula absent. Aperture preceded by a slight swelling. Septum very low dome shaped without mucro, sometimes encrusted. Length 1.5 mm . REMARKS This small species shows a very constant morphology, including a very low septum without mucro and a small swelling before the aperture preceded by some distinct rings.
