Methocha litoralis Krombein, 1982 Methocha litoralis Krombein (1982) : 90 . Diagnosis. Male. Body length 9.5 mm . Ocelli in obtuse triangle; apico-medial margin of clypeal lobe deeply emarginated; pronotal disc with anterior ridge; parapsidal furrows and notauli present; mesopleuron with median ovate, impressed, densely setose fossa, above with small punctures; propodeum without median ridge; apices of metasomal segments with row of closer punctures. Female. Body length 6.3 mm . Clypeus with low, convex swelling in middle; malar space distinct; pronotal disc without median furrow; mesosternum in frons of mid coxae with pair of strong acute teeth; propodeum virtually impunctate. Distribution. India : Puducherry , Sri Lanka . Note. No additional specimens were obtained during the present study. So, the above mentioned diagnosis is based on the original species description ( Krombein 1982 ).
