( Figs. 3A–B , 4 G−J, 11A−L) Diagnosis: Recognized readily by its large, wide body; yellowish brown basic coloration, with dark brown maculae on hemelytron; and bright yellow cuneus with infuscate apex ( Fig. 3A–B ). By these characters, the present new species can be distinguished from the other congener described below and superficially similar taxa (members of Eocalocoris , Eurystylus , Heteropantilius and Miyamotoa ). The eggs as shown in Fig. 4I–J ; operculum thick, developed. Description. Female : Body widely yellowish brown, large, wide; dorsum weakly shining, matte, with sparsely distributed, short, simple setae. Head yellowish brown; clypeus suffused with brown mesally. Antenna dark brown; segment I longer than head across eyes; segment II short, slightly incrassate, much shorter than basal width of pronotum; extreme base of segment III pale. Labium shiny yellowish brown, partly tinged with red, short, not exceeding posterior margin of mesepisternum; apical half of segment IV darkened. Pronotum yellowish brown, with a pair of obscure spots posteriorly, tumid, irregularly and transversely wrinkled; collar about as thick as basal part of antennal segment II; mesoscutum pale brown, slightly darkened laterally; scutellum bright yellow, with transverse wrinkles; thoracic pleura uniformly pale brown; metathoracic scent efferent system as in Fig. 11E . Hemelytron yellowish brown, with dark suffusion at anterior corium across clavus and large dark macula on posterior corium as in Fig. 3A ; cuneus bright yellow; membrane pale smoky brown, semitransparent, with dark brown veins. All coxae and legs pale brown; apex of metafemur and each tibia darkened; mesotibia and pretarsal structure of mesoleg as in Fig. 11G–H . Abdomen almost uniformly pale brown. Genitalia ( Figs. 4G–H , 11I–L ): Sclerotized ring elongate oval ( Figs. 4G ); posterior wall wide ( Fig. 11J ); dorsal structure with comb-like microstructures ( Fig. 11J ); interramal lobe rectangular, with comb-like microstructures laterally ( Fig. 11K ). Male : Unknown. Measurements. See Table 1 . Etymology. From Latin adjective, amplissimus (superlative degree of amplus = large, wide, spacious), referring to the remarkably large and wide body shape.
