Note: Justicia remotifolia is characterised by having coriaceous leaves and lax paniculate inflorescences with two small ovate leaves at the base of peduncle. This species is found only in Chaiyaphum (north-eastern Thailand ) and in the Malay Peninsula. The original description of J. oligantha matches very well with the type of J. remotifolia . Therefore, the former is placed as a synonym of the latter.
