Note:

Justicia remotifolia
is characterised by having coriaceous leaves and lax paniculate inflorescences with two small ovate leaves at the base of peduncle. This species is found only in
Chaiyaphum
(north-eastern
Thailand
) and in the Malay Peninsula. The original description of
J. oligantha
matches very well with the
type
of
J. remotifolia
. Therefore, the former is placed as a synonym of the latter.
