Canestrini, 1882) Oppia cf. concolor : Illig et al. (2007) . Damaeus ( Paradamaeus ) clavipes (= Damaeus concolor ): Subías (2022) . Distribution : Holarctic, Nearctic, Neotropical. Records in Ecuador : Zamora Chinchipe (San Francisco Biological Reserve). Habitat: Leaf litter and forest soil. References : Illig et al. (2007) : 228; Subías (2022) : 136. Remarks: Record based on unconfirmed identification. There are some inconsistencies in the systematics of this species, some authors recognize Oppia denticulata (Canestrini & R. Canestrini, 1882) and O. concolor (Koch, 1844) as separate species, Subías (2022) places it as a synonym of Damaeus ( Paradamaeus ) clavipes (Hermann, 1804) , while Miko (2006) who places O. concolor as a synonym of O. denticulate . The position of Miko (2006) was followed.
