Diagnostic characters . —Cercus in lateral view: straight and with almost uniform width, the medial expansion visible in lateral view in the middle of the length of cercus. Cercus in mediodorsal view: base of cercus without spine, medial expansion with small spines at the apical end. Paraproct in lateral view: less than half the size of the cercus, stout and with a tuff of setae directed upwards. —Basal plate not illustrated in Costa et al. 2006 , pectoral color pattern as in Fig. 40E .
