One female, Turkey , Giresun, Alucra, Kamışlı, 40° 16' 19'' N , 38° 48' 02'' E , alt. 1632 m , 24 August 2007 , from moss and soil; two females Turkey , Giresun, between Çamoluk and Alucra, 40° 15' 27'' N , 38° 50' 12'' E , alt. 1805 m , 31 May 2008 , from soil and litter under Juniperus sp.; four females, Turkey , Tokat, between Niksar and Erbaa, 40° 39' 34'' N , 36° 41' 58'' E , alt. 233 m , 14 May 2011 , from plant litter. Notes. Longicheles mandibularis was found in litter under Juniperus sp., and in moss and soil at altitudes between 233–1805 m . It is widely distributed in Europe (Mašán 2003), Australia (Halliday 2001) and New Zealand (Emberson 2010), and is previously known from Turkey (Çobanoğlu & Bayram 1998).
