Holotype, female. 40, habitus, lateral view; 41, head, mesosoma and metasoma, dorsal view; 42, mesosoma, dorsal view; 43, metasoma, dorsal view. Colour: head dark brown to black, palpi yellow, flagellum dark brown, scape brown; mesosoma dark brown to black; metasoma brown; wing veins light brown, stigma dark brown; legs yellow. Head : vertex, frons and face smooth; malar space greater than ¼ eye height; temple narrow, width equal to ½ eye width; ocell-ocular distance 2.5 times the diameter of lateral ocellus. Mesosoma: flattened dorso-ventrally; mesopleuron smooth, precoxal sulcus smooth, shorter than width of mesopleuron ; mesoscutum lobes smooth and hairy just along notauli; notauli weakly scrobiculate meeting before prescutellar furrow in triangular costate area; prescutellar furrow with three cross carinae; scutellum granulose; propodeum with basal median areas distinct and margined, basal median areas granulose, basal median carina present, areolar margin indistinct, areolar area granulose, lateral areas entirely granulose, mesosternum smooth. Fore wing : vein r shorter than vein 3 RSa , vein 1cu-a beyond vein 1M, stigma width shorter than length of vein r. Hind wing: vein SC+R present, length of vein M+CU shorter than vein 1M. Metasoma: first tergum longitudinally costate, apical width shorter than length; second tergum longitudinally costate, with apical width 2.5–3 times the length; third tergum smooth; terga II+III with anterior and posterior transverse grooves presents; terga IV–VII smooth; ovipositor equal to length of terga I+II combined. Material examined. Holotype ( DCBU 31294 ); female, Brazil , SP, São Luiz do Paraitinga , Núcleo Santa Virgínia 23o19’24,8’’S 45o5’40’’W , semidecidous mesophilic forest, 22.IV.2010 , Malaise traps ; N.W. Perioto col. Comments. This species is distinguished by the mesosoma stretched and flattened dorso-ventrally and the higher proportion of mesopleuron length in relation to mesosoma. Etymology. This species is named by a characteristic of the mesopleuron , relatively large compared to the size of the all body.
