Remarks:
Eumerus sexvittatus
was described by Brunetti from a single female specimen from
India
.The
type
specimen is deposited in the collection of the Zoological Survey of
India
, Calcutta.The major diagnostic characters used in the original description are based largely on body coloration, the presence or absence of hairs on the eyes, and body size.However, the male sternite IV and genitalia are probably necessary for comparison with known congeners in
India
and
Pakistan
.The male is still unknown.
