Labels: “Bandaisha/ Formosa /1, VII, 1965,” “Gen. No./ 66079,” “ Aeromachus / bandaishanus/ Mur et Shim./ HOLOTYPE .” A male specimen was designated as the holotype by Murayama & Shimonoya (1968) , and the specimen was retrieved in the Shimonoya collection ( Figs. 10–12 ). Though this species might be related to a continental species such as A. nanus (Leech, 1890) , we regard bandaishanus as a valid species name.
