COMMENTS : The AMNH number of the holotype was cited in the original description. The single paratype is AMNH 224065bis, female, collected on 20 November 1928 . On Goodenough Island, Hamlin (AMNH Dept. of Ornithology Archives, Whitney South Sea Expedition Journal T) was camped inland from Mud Bay, 09.25S , 150.20E ( Papua New Guinea , 1984 ).
