Hunan Conservatur”). – Note: Corylus wulingensis was recognized by the World Checklist and Bibliography of Fagales ( Govaerts & Frodin 1998 ) , but not mentioned in the Flora of China ( Li & Skvortsov 1999 ). However, according to the protologue and the accompanying figure, this taxon is morphologically intermediate between C. yunnanensis and the type of C. heterophylla var. crista-galli (listed here as a synonym of C. heterophylla var. sutchuensis ). It shares the dense indumentum with the former, and the occurrence of glandular trichomes and the short involucre with the latter taxon.
