Male ( Figs. 1, 3 ). Forewing length 12.5–13.5 mm . Wing upper side pale yellowish brown. Forewings with darker brown Veins; an indistinct brown transVerse postdiscal band is bent outward beyond the cell; male with a grayish-brown plumose tuft oVerlapping and eXtending half of the cell ( Moore 1878 ). Male genitalia ( Fig. 24 ). Uncus bifid in apical half. Cucullus apeX finger-like, medially broadened, curVed Ventrally; basal parts of ValVes Ventral margins split; distal saccular process finger-like, but twice narrower than cucullus. Vesica membranous, consists of long, narrow and apically pointed diVerticulum haVing two small subdiVerticula at base, ductus and Vesica ejaculatorius situated subbasally. Female ( Fig. 2 ). Forewing length 15–15.5 mm . Wing upperside light brown with reddish tint; all markings as in male. Female genitalia ( Fig. 36 ). OVipositor short and broad; apophyses long and thin, apophyses anteriores slightly longer and thinner than apophyses posteriores; ductus bursae weakly sclerotized, dorso-Ventrally flattened, its anterior section membranous; corpus bursae egg-like, membranous, with a large round signum posteriorly. Distribution. SE Himalayas. All records from other regions are probably mistaken.
