This species was described from the male
holotype
with the following data: “

, Fasheng Li”. It was distinguished in its original description in the following way: “Body length (incl. forewing) 6.5 mm, pronotum width 3.5 mm. Male pygofer side with a process [Fig. 17]. Aedeagus curved dorsally, shaft with two subapical processes”.
