Larvae of Hygrobates norvegicus (see Fig. 41 ) were found as chironomid parasites in the emergence traps. Diagnostic characters of larvae: See characters of the genus. Martin (2003) pointed out that the characteristic distal notch on the Expp of H. norvegicus is absent in other described Hygrobates larvae.
