Remarks.
This is the first record of
Ps. corossoniensis
in
Mexico
, and the northernmost of its distribution. Female are not possible to separate from that of
Psychodopygus geniculatus
(Mangabeira 1941)
,
Ps. guyanensis
(Floch & Abonnenc 1941)
, and probably
Ps. dorlinsis
(LePont & Desjeux 1982)
. Few specimens of this species were collected in this study. Half of them were captured in CDC light traps at transects in the ever-green forest; the rest were collected in CDC light traps within communities outside houses or with a Magoon trap in the locality periphery.
