In 1970, Kethley moved this taxon to the genus Syringophilopsis . Since the original description and figures are insufficient, we give a redescription of this species based on new material from the type host species. Until now, it was known only from the type host, and additionally, we give a new host record for this species. Description. FEMALE ( Figs 39–44 ). Total body length 855–1000 in 4 specimens .
