The socius is indistinct in B. notella , the valva is sharply curved on dorsal margin and narrowed distally, which can separate it from B. duanwuia and other congeners. The host plant of B. notella is unknown in China . Murase (2003) recorded the host and biology of this species in Japan , and Kobayashi et al.
