Other characteristics as shown in Figs 1–10 , 21. Type material. THAILAND : Holotype ♂ ( QSBG ), Chiang Mai Doi Phahompok NP Doi phaluang, 1149 m , malaise trap, 07–14. II. 2008 , Seeson. K. Paratypes : 1♀ ( NWAFU ), same data as holotype ; 1♂ ( NWAFU ), same data as holotype except collected on 21–28. II. 2008 ; 1♀ ( UIUC ), ChiangMai Doi Phahompok NP Doi kewom 1/ montane forest, 2174m , malaise trap, 07–14. II. 2008 , Seeson. K. Remarks. This species is very similar to C. abbreviata (Jacobi) , n. comb. externally, but it can be distinguished from the latter by: 1) body larger; 2) anterior margin of crown less sharp ( Figs 3 , 13 ); 3) transverse beige patch ( Fig. 4 ) on frontoclypeus large and enclosing pair of blackish ochreous browlike spots ( Fig. 14 ); 4) apophysis of style of uniform width and only near apex abruptly narrowed to slender pointed process ( Fig. 7 ); 5) style apodeme apex straight in ventral view ( Fig. 7 ); 6) aedeagal ventral process approximately triangular in lateral view ( Fig. 6 ). The specimens examined were previously preserved in alcohol and subsequently point mounted, which may account for some of the differences in coloration noted between this species and C. abbreviata . Etymology. The specific name refers to the browlike spots of these insects.
