Clivina randalli
LeConte, 1857b: 82. Replacement name for

Randall, 1838.
Distribution.
This European species is adventive in North America where is it known from southern Quebec (Larochelle 1975: 78) to southwestern Ohio (Dury 1879: 162) and Connecticut (Krinsky and Oliver 2001: 44), from southern Manitoba (Pollock 1991b: 298), from British Columbia (Lindroth 1961a: 162), and from Washington (Hatch 1953: 66). The first inventoried specimen collected on this continent was
found
prior to 1838 (Randall 1838b: 34, as
Clivina elongata
) in Massachusetts. The record from northeastern Kansas (Popenoe 1877: 22, as
Clivina elongata
) is probably in error.
