Review of south temperate New World Coelocybinae (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) Author Heydon, Steven L. text Zootaxa 2014 3754 4 420 434 journal article 46647 10.11646/zootaxa.3754.4.4 2c8e966a-663b-4221-a6c2-ae46fdfa95d4 1175-5326 231015 8CA62E51-2477-40F1-B855-279E877780BE Lanthanomyia De Santis Lanthanomyia De Santis, 1967 : 3 –4 ( type species: Lanthanomyia australis De Santis, 1967 ; original designation, examined). De Santis 1972 : 63 (description of male). Heydon and Hanson 2005 : 160 –165 (redescription and revision of species). Lanthanomyia can be separated from the other two genera of Chilean Coelocybinae by the following combination of characters: body not flattened and with the collar rounding over into short declivitous neck ( Figs 17, 18 , 24 ), notauli reaching to posterior edge of mesoscutum as smooth-bottomed groove ( Figs 19, 20 ), first gastral tergite sculptured ( Fig. 21 ), and sculpturing of hind coxa in oval (fingerprint) pattern. In addition to the descriptions of two new species, updated diagnoses and new distributional records are given for each known Lanthanomyia species.
