Left antenna missing.

First male with forewings slightly damaged. Second male with worn wings and left antenna broken. Female with apex of left forewing missing and slight damage to the right forewing and left hindwing.
Remarks.
This species was described from the four specimens found at the NHMW. It was transferred to
Sphecosoma
Butler, 1876
by
Simmons and Weller (2006)
, who assigned it to the
Sphecosoma aliena
species group.
