This character is absolutely unusual: no species described here presents a similar morphology, neither any other aspicerine genus. The type material is presumably lost, because it is not deposited in the Museum d’Histoire Naturelle de Gèneve ( B. Merz , pers. com. ), neither in the Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle de Paris ( C. Villemant , pers. Com .), and neither in the British Museum ( D. Notton , pers. com .). Therefore, until the type material is found, we have to consider this species collected in France as “ incertae sedis ”.
