Type : unknown. Ephialtes subglabratus Perkins, 1943 : 249 –273. Type : unknown. Diagnosis . Body 16 mm ; fore wing 12 mm ; ovipositor 20 mm long. Body black. Palpi brown; tegula yellow. Upper area of pronotum with yellow line. All legs almost reddish brown, mid and hind tibiae to tarsi blackish brown, all trochantellus yellow. Antenna with 30 flagellomeres. Face coarsely punctate. Head parallel, slightly narrowing behind eyes in dorsal view. Frons without wrinkles. Malar space densely granulate, shorter than 0.5 × of mandible base. Temple polished and loosely punctate. Pronotum polished; upper corner of pronotum closely punctate; lower corner of pronotum striated. Prepectal carina extending above lower corner of pronotum and recurving forward. Mesoscutum finely punctate, with strong notauli. Speculum weakly convex; mesopleural pit weak present. Propodeum rugosely punctate without transverse carina; apical part of propodeum with transverse striae; median part of propodeum flat. Fifth hind tarsus shorter than third tarsus. Petiole with spiracle before the middle of petiole. First tergite longer than second tergite. Third and fourth tergites quadrate. Dorsal lobe of ovipositor with four spaced ridges. Material examined.
