Remarks.
Paraphloeostiba conjuncta
was recently described from north-eastern part of
Papua New Guinea
. The body length of this species can vary from
1.78 to 2.35 mm
(
holotype
:
1.80 mm
). Prior to the present study, the female of
P
.
conjuncta
was unknown. The description of the female is presented below.
Female. Posterior margin of abdominal tergite VIII (
Fig. 36
) and sternite VIII (
Fig. 37
) rounded. Accessory sclerite wide, gradually narrowed toward rounded apex (
Fig. 38
). Spermatheca not recognized.
Paraphloeostiba conjuncta
is known from several localities in Western New
Guinea
(
Indonesia
) and eastern part of
Papua New Guinea
. It is here recorded from Western New
Guinea
(
Indonesia
) for the first time.
