Based on the published ( Watanabe 1962 , Shavrin 2020 a , 2020b, 2023a ) and the present data, the genus contains five species from south-eastern part of the Palaearctic and Oriental regions: N. explanata Shavrin, 2023 ( Indonesia : Bali ), N. verrucifera Watanabe, 1962 (south Japan ), N. thayeri Shavrin, 2020 ( Malaysia ), N. longilobata Shavrin, 2020 ( Laos ), and N. hornabrooki sp. n. ( Papua New Guinea ) ( Watanabe 1962 , Shavrin 2020 a , 2020b, present study). The distribution of the genus is shown in the Fig. 11 . Species of this genus have flattened and elongate body, well-developed postocular parts of the head, two elongate carinae in basal portion of the head and two small tubercles near apical margins of the pronotum (for details see Watanabe 1962 , 1990 , Shavrin 2020 a , 2020b).
