York Co. , trail to "Browns Mtn. Fen", 45.8964°N , 67.6273°W , 8.IX.2007 , R.P. Webster // Mixed forest (near brook), sweeping roadside foliage (2, RWC) . Distribution in Canada and Alaska. BC, MB, ON, QC, NB ( Bousquet et al. 2013 ). Comments. Most adults of Limnichites punctatus were found along a river margin on moist bare clay near a seepage area. Specimens were collected after splashing the clay bank. The splashing caused them to move, making them easier to see on the dark substrate.
