Tanycypris centa
Chang, Lee and Smith, 2012
Remarks
Previously, this species was reported from one locality in the lower reaches of the Hyeongsan River on the south-east of the Korean Peninsula (
Chang et al. 2012
). The specimens found on
Jeju
Island were collected from a pond, and indicate that the species may be relatively widespread in southern
Korea
. It has also been collected from the Munich Botanical Gardens,
Germany
(Renate Matzke-Karasz pers. comm.), where it is probably an alien species (see above under
Tanycypris alfonsi
). This species was recovered from only one locality (26), an irrigation pond.
