Diagnosis.
Wingspan:
10 mm
.
Forewing: light greyish brown.
Transverse lines: narrow, black; terminal line marked by black dots between veins.
Reniform: distinct; yellow, outlined by black.
Hindwing: unicolorous light brown with an indistinct black discal spot.
Underside: unicolorous light brown.
Female genitalia.

abdominal segment: narrow, heavily fused with 7

segment; ventrally extended up 7

segment, forming a large U before ostium.

abdominal segment: heavily sclerotised, asymmetrical.
Anterior apophyses: length 1½ of posterior apophyses.
Position of ostium bursae: 3/4 from anterior edge of 7
th
segment, slightly displaced to right.
Antrum: short, tapered, heavily sclerotised.
Ductus bursae: membranous, long, twice as long as corpus bursae.
Corpus bursae: globular.
Appendix bursae: arising anteriorly from ductus bursae immediately after antrum.
Differential diagnosis.
P. abovia
differs from other
Bilobiana
species
by the large U-shaped ventral extension of the 8
th
abdominal segment.
