A single specimen was studied with a label reading “Co-type”, along with other identifiers allowing this specimen to be matched to the original specimens used by Murray in 1864. The original description mentions specimens in both the NHM and in Berlin (also studied); however, primary type material for this revision is housed in the NHM so remains appropriate for designation. Therefore, this specimen, a dissected male in good condition, can be considered a primary type. Labels for the specimen are as follows: “Co-type” “Type” “Murr” “68-106” “terminalis”. A red label is added with the following text: “
