Remarks.
Hemiosus moreirai
was described by d’Orchymont (1921) and its
holotype
collected in Rio de Janeiro. Santos
et al.
(in press.) mention this species as being widely distributed in Rio de Janeiro State, specially in areas of Atlantic Rainforest, therefore this new record from São Paulo State is not surprising.
