Aspidimerus birmanicus : Kapur 1948: 84 .— Poorani 2002: 343 ; Huo et al. 2013: 71 . Diagnosis. Length: 3.80–5.00mm; width: 2.80–3.80mm . Form oblong oval, strongly convex; dorsum densely pubescent. Dorsal side black, elytra with two large, dark reddish to yellowish discal spots positioned above midline ( Figs 6a–c , 7a–d ). Ventral side black, legs dark brown except last pair reddish brown, abdominal ventrites reddish brown. Mesoventrite semicircularly emarginate. Abdominal postcoxal line incomplete ( Fig.7e ).
