Figs 1 B,F, 6A–E. Chocolate brown. Vertex with four black spots on fore margin, of which inner two on each side of midline, sometimes connected with short angulated spot, lateral spots contiguous with ocelli and broad, chocolate-brown transverse band between ocelli interrupted medially, paler posteriorly and laterally. Face yellow without markings. Pronotum marbled with brown, with central pale longitudinal line. Scutellum pale yellow, basal triangles chocolate brown, two dots before impressed transverse line and two marginal spots before tip, brown. Forewing brownishyellow, costal margin yellow in basal 0.75 interrupted in the middle by brown, apical part spotted with brown. Male genitalia . Pygofer triangular, caudal margin produced, with many long fine setae at dorsal margin and many short fine setae from middle of pygophore side to ventral margin. Connective V-shaped. Aedeagus with pair of shafts, each shaft bisinuate, broad at basal 0.33 then tapered towards apex; dorsal apodeme well developed. Gonopore subapical. Measurements. Male 6.6 mm long, 1.7 mm wide across eyes and 1.9mm wide across hind margin of pronotum. Material examined. CHINA : HOLOTYPE 3, Anhui, Jiuhuashan, Leilongshi, 23 July 1979 , Wang Sizheng, at light ( NWAU ). Remarks. This species resembles P. divaricatus but can be distinguished from the latter by the dorsal pygofer processes. Etymology. The species is named after the type locality, Jiuhua Mountains.
