Remarks.
The species under consideration belongs to the subfamily
Corticariinae
based on the following combination of characters: (1) head without a furrow, (2) procoxae not separated by a prosternal process, (3) lateral margins of pronotum rounded and denticulate, (4) elytra pubescent. The following characters support referral to the genus
Corticaria
: (1) antennae 11-segmented, (2) abdomen with 5 visible ventrites.
