COMMENTS: Includes anubis , cynocephalus , papio , and ursinus ; see Szalay and Delson (1979:336) and Jolly and Brett (1973:85) . Dandelot (1974:9) , Corbet and Hill (1980:88 ,) and others recognized these as distinct species. Groves (1989) suggested some of these might be distinct species. Maples and McKern (1967:2) discussed integradation in these forms.
