Crown yellow or yellowish white and slightly convex; pronotum black; apex of scutellum black, other part yellowish white; face yellowish white. Posterior margin of forewing with 1–2 yellowish white patches (Figs. 1, 6, 11, 16). Pygofer caudally broadly rounded, with process at ventral margin ( Fig. 33 ). Subgenital plate longer than pygofer, with single longitudinal row of macrosetae on middle, fine setae sparsely distributed over surface laterad of macrosetae ( Fig. 34 ). Style apex expanded and cheliform, basal part slim ( Fig. 37 ). Connective Y-shaped with arms short and widely divergent, stem long and arched in lateral view ( Fig. 36 ). Aedeagal shaft curved dorsad, tubular, with toothed processes on dorsal surface ( Fig. 35 ). Measurements. Male body length 5.2 to 6.0mm, female body length 6.2 to 7.0mm (including wing). Distribution. China (Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Hebei, Henan, Gansu, Qinghai, Hunan, Hubei, Anhui, Zhejiang, Xinjiang, Ningxia). Remarks. This species can be easily distinguished from other species of the genus by the aedeagal shaft which is tubular and without processes on the ventral surface. Sexual dimorphism is common in this species: body length, dorsal coloration and stripes are different between male and female ( Figs. 28–31 ). Specimens of the same gender but from different habitats have markedly different coloration and stripes ( Figs. 38–39, 41–42, 44–45, 47–48, 50– 51, 53–54 ). The shape of process at the ventral margin of the pygofer is also variable ( Figs. 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 55 ). Li et Chen (1999) described O. flavomarginata as a new species based on differences in the color pattern of the forewing and the shape of the process at the ventral margin of the pygofer. Examination of the male genitalia and comparison of the holotypes of O. honesta and O. flavomarginata revealed that they are synonyms.
